Game Jam Project – 48 Hours
A top-down action game centered around risk, timing, and replayability. You control a lone knight exploring the map during the day, collecting gold from a central chest while fighting enemies along the way. When night falls, defeated enemies return as hostile ghosts, shifting the focus from combat to survival and escape.
The game is built around a repeating loop where each run earns resources used to improve the next one. Between attempts, players can visit shops to upgrade their knight, unlock stronger abilities, and purchase consumable items such as extra hearts that help survive future runs. Careful decisions about upgrades and spending directly affect how far you can progress.
Designed as a fast-paced game jam experience, the project emphasizes replayable mechanics, simple progression systems, and a clear day–night risk/reward cycle that encourages players to push further with each attempt.
